So your child graduating – now what
You want to do something special for them, a celebration and event to mark their achievement, but you work 60 hours a week and don’t have time to plan, set up or clean it up. Well, that’s were we come in.
To plan the event with your guidance on what you want. Here is what you need to come up with before we meet.
1. Your budget. Of course you want to do something nice without breaking the bank. That’s everyone, but that number is different for everyone. Bring family and friends together to celebrate this great accomplishment, but keep it informal enough so that it's fun and relatively inexpensive. Setting a budget will let you answer three important questions; "Where will the party be held?", "Who is doing the cooking?", and "Will I hire entertainment?".
2. You can rent a hall, a space in a restaurant, at your house – just to name a few options.
3. Obviously with your work schedule, you cooking is probably not going to happen. So there’s on site catering or drop & go catering. I get asked a lot what is drop & go catering. It is catering that is literally brought in throw away containers, dropped on a table and the company goes back to the store.
4. Entertainment. This can be broad – a DJ, stilt walkers, fire eaters, a small band, games just to name a few.
